Carol's Closet Trunk Show!

It’s quite nice taking a break from the vendor world and stepping into the retailer’s shoes for a change. Yesterday, I had the pleasure to attend Carol’s Closet’s FIRST Beija-Flor Trunk Show! Although the event was just one day long, it definitely gave the women of Gainesville something to talk about!

Every lady that tried on our jeans absolutely fell in love, and immediately called one of their girlfriends. My favorite quote was, “Susan, you have to get over here. Stop what your doing. This is more important. These are the best fitting jeans I have EVER tried on!” It was so rewarding seeing women hesitate to try on jeans at first - and with a little convincing fall in love once they get them on.

I wish I could have snapped more pictures, but we were too busy! Special thanks to the sweet women of Carol’s Closet and their delicious chocolate covered strawberries, chicken salad sandwiches, and fresh lemonade!  So, the next time you are on your way to Atlanta, I recommend stopping by Gainesville. It’s downtown is filled with street walk cafes, coffee shops, specialty boutiques, and more!
