Game On... Our top style picks and recipes for Superbowl Sunday!

So apparently, there is a little football game on Sunday… Well not little, more like the biggest game of the year! Go Panthers!! Keep Pounding!! (We couldn't resist...)

We suspect you're heading to a Super Bowl Party this weekend, so we put our team to the test in a friendly competition to come up with our top Super Bowl style and snack picks!

AND THE WINNER IS...

Sally’s Jalapeño Poppers

Fresh Jalapenos
Chive & Onion Cream Cheese
Bacon

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cut the stems off the jalapenos, then cut in half and take out seeds. Once you've done that spread Chive and Onion cream cheese in the jalapeno. Take your bacon and cut in half. Once that is done, take a piece of half bacon and wrap around the stuffed jalapenos. Put in oven and cook for 30 mins.

Tip: For an easy clean up, put tin foil on the pan you will back poppers in and spray with cooking spray. When the poppers are done it's easy to peel off and you won't get anything on your pan.

Sally loves our Jennifer Emana Bootcut for game day style that actually makes you feel better as the night goes on. A total win-win!

Congrats, Sally! Now, check out how the rest of the field fared...

SECOND PLACE:
Amy's Corn Dip

1 8oz. cream cheese
1 stick of butter
2 tablespoons of chopped jalapeno peppers
4 tablespoons of jalapeno peppers juice
2 cans of shoepeg corn ( I use the green giant cans).

Soften the butter and cream cheese. Cook the corn accordingly and drain. Combine all ingredients and cook at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serve with frito scoops or corn chips.

Amy's Game Day Style Pick: "I pretty much live in our Black Collection. They work with my entire wardrobe and are so slimming... Even after an extra scoop of my corn dip!"

THIRD PLACE:
Jill's Crock Pot Buffalo Chicken Dip

2½ cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
½ cup hot sauce
8 oz of the fat cream cheese
½ cup ranch dressing
½ cup cheddar cheese shredded
½ cup blue cheese crumbles

Stir together all ingredients until well-combined in crock pot.  Cook on low for 1½ hours or until cheese is melted and dip starts to bubble on edges. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.  Serve with your favorite chips, crackers, and veggies.

Jill's Game Day Style Pick: "I adore our Chili Pepper Red. It adds just the right touch of spice to any outfit."

And the honorable mentions go to...

Anna’s Layered Oreo Ice Cream

Layer one: one box of crushed up oreos
Layer two: chocolate syrup
Layer three: 1 stick of melted butter
Layer four: 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream
Layer five: chocolate syrup
Layer six: Big tub of whip cream
*Freeze overnight.

Anna's Game Day Style Pick: "I love our Audrey Ankle. I'm petite so finding a good length is always so hard. Audrey fits me like a glove."

Elizabeth’s Buffalo Chicken Dip

2-3 Chicken Breasts - cooked and shredded**
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup ranch dressing
½ cup Frank’s Wing Sauce
2 cups shredded Mexican Cheese Mix

Preheat oven to 350.  Spread cream cheese over the bottom of dish.  Spread shredded chicken over the cream cheese.  Pour wing sauce over the chicken.  Pour ranch dressing over the chicken.  Spread both sauces to evenly coat the chicken.  Top with shredded cheese.  Bake for 15-20 minutes or until bubbly.  Serve with pretzels, chicken flavored boxed crackers, celery, corn chips or tortillas.

**To cook the chicken fast, put 2-3 breasts in the bottom of a Pyrex dish.  Salt & pepper them and top with a little water.  Cover them (not completly) and microwave them for 3-5 minutes each side.  Should shred apart pretty easily.

Elizabeth's Game Day Style Pick: "I have been a fan of Kelly Navy for as long as I can remember. It's so comfortable and goes with everything."

Hope’s Puppy Chow

9 cups any chex - I use Rice Chex (which makes it gluten free and tastes the best to me)
1 package of semi-sweet choc chips
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1/4 butter/margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

In microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered for 1 minute on high.  Stir. Microwave another 30 seconds or until mixture can be stirred smooth.  Stir in vanilla  Pour mixture over cereal stirring until evenly coated.  You will either need to do this in big bowl or multiple bowls.  Most recipes say put in 2 gallon ziploc bag and then pour powdered sugar over it and shake.  I think it works best if you can put in large paper bag and pour powdered sugar in there and shake - then it doesn't stick to the sides.  Cool in refrigerator.

Hope's Game Day Style Pick: "I'm a sucker for a good bootcut and our Jennifer Dark Blue Bootcut makes me look long and lean even after a day of chowing down."
